Ceremony
Bring the sounds of paradise to your ceremony!
Pantasia offers a duo or trio for weddings on the beach and other outdoor ceremonies. You may find other steel drummers who will play solo for a wedding ceremony, but Pantasia does not offer a solo performer. It is our experience that one performer is unable to produce the type of impact, both visually and volume-wise, that is necessary for a romantic and successful ceremony. Pantasia's wedding ceremonies include 15 minutes of pre-wedding music comprised of light but festive songs, similar to the type you would hear on a Caribbean cruise. It is created by a combination of steel drums and other Caribbean percussion. As the mothers of the bride and groom, the flower girl, ring bearer and bridesmaids enter, we perform slightly slower selections that perfectly create the feeling of a tropical wedding. As the bride enters, "Here Comes the Bride", "One Love", or "I Can't Help Falling in Love" is performed according to the bride's request. Both bridal processional songs are performed using steel drums only. At the conclusion of the ceremony as the bride and groom recess, a festive and upbeat calypso is performed. Pantasia will perform following the ceremony as your guest exit. If you would like your ceremony structured a different way, please make mention of this when requesting a quote. Pantasia wears khaki capris with matching Caribbean shirts. We coordinate with your bridal colors as closely as possible. For weddings ceremonies occurring all times except late May to early September, the bride also has the option of selecting black pants and long sleeved white shirts with matching blue/purple Caribbean tuxedo vests. There's no wrong way. There's only your way. Formal, indoor receptions by candle light in January to oyster roast receptions on the beach while guests sunbathe and play limbo- we've performed for them all ! |

Whether it's soft background music lilting in the night air as your family reminisces about the day the two of you met or a "kick your heels up", "let you hair down" celebration because all the planning is finally over . . . Pantasia can help create the perfect atmosphere. For wedding rehearsal dinners, Pantasia usually sends our duo. This group is just the right size for making the event fun and festive without overshadowing the reception entertainment that will follow the next day. |

We offer package deals and discounts for couples who book Pantasia for a "pre-wedding weekend" event such as an engagement party or bridal shower and then book us again for a wedding weekend event such as a rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, ceremony, or reception. Both events must be included on the same contract.

Want a singer instead?Pantasia is a true steel band so we do not have a singer in our band. If you would like a singer for your ceremony, we have the perfect option, Xavier Martin Moses of the tropical duo, Jukebox Island. Xavier Martin Moses, simply called “X” by all his friends,was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, X’s life as a performer began when he became a member of the elite Brooklyn Youth Chorus. While in this group, X performed as a backup singer for Judy Garland at Carnegie Hall, Elton John at Radio City Music Hall, and Marc Anthony during the Miracle on 34th Street Concert at Madison Square Gardens. X also performed on the TV program, “Good Morning America.” He went on to graduate from the Fame High School of Performing Arts in New York City with a Major in Vocal Music. In 2010, X graduated from the University of South Carolina where he earned a BME in Vocal Music Education with an emphasis in Performance and he was chosen as the soloist for the National Anthem during commencement ceremonies. Xavier’s musical ability has taken him to Russia, China, Germany, Canada, France, England, and most recently Italy.
